Cartref Croeso is a luxury, rural residential care home in Pencader, Carmarthenshire, with extremely high levels of care & excellent facilities. We want you to really feel like this is your 'home' & for you to enjoy the later stages of your life. Cartref Croeso is a beautiful, spacious home with lovely views and gardens. With only 15 bedrooms & various homely communal rooms, there is plenty of space to socialise & areas where you can enjoy some time to yourself. We even have a pub for residents and their guests.

We truly care about our residents. Leaving your own home & entering a residential home should not be the end of your happy years - you deserve to be respected & spoilt! You can depend on friendly, experienced care when you need it, but we also respect & encourage your independence. This is your life, your home. Each resident is different & we work to each individual's wishes to help them live life to the fullest - and of course we're always there for when you need a helping hand.

Get involved in the garden...

You can sit & enjoy the beautiful views, take tea outside with friends, wander through the orchard or get your hands dirty with some gardening. There are multiple seating areas dotted around the grounds for you to take in the rural Carmarthenshire views. There's always a spot of gardening needing doing if you'd like to get involved & we appreciate extra help growing our own veggies in the polytunnel - all in raised beds. And we mustn't forget the chickens who appreciate some TLC & never fail to make you smile!

Regular Outings Nearby...

Located in Pencader we have plenty of great local attractions to visit in SW Wales, across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire. The pretty town of Newcastle Emlyn is nearby as is Lampeter, Carmarthen & Cardigan. There are many beautiful beaches & seaside towns such as New Quay, Aberaeron & Aberporth. Other attractions include Brechfa Forest, National Botanic Gardens, Folly Farm & Teifi Valley Railway.
